HOBBS, N.M. – Two Hobbs men were arrested following a drug bust last Thursday in Hobbs.
We're told agents with the Lea County Drug Task Force along with the Lea County Sheriff's Department and Hobbs Police conducted a search warrant at a residence in the 2500 block of West Midwest.
Officials say that they had received information about illegal narcotics being sold from the home and an investigation began.
During the bust, 44 pounds of hydroponic marijuana were seized.
Two men, 21-year-old Kevin Mendoza and 19-year-old Armando Mendoza were arrested and charged with distribution of marijuana and conspiracy to distribute marijuana.
The total street value of the marijuana was $400,000.
