MIDLAND - A man got locked up in Midland over the weekend for causing trouble for several residents while he appeared to be intoxicated.
21-year-old Edward Orona is facing multiple charges including possession of a controlled substance and criminal mischief.
When authorities were called out to a burglary in progress at a home in the 4600 block of Erie Drive, a woman told them Orona had forced his way inside.
He left the house after being pushed several times and broke the gate of a fence when he jumped over it.
Authorities also found synthetic marijuana inside a vehicle driven by Orona which had side-swiped another car.
Officers then made their way to a home on South Brentwood where Orona had passed out on a lawn before trying to get inside another home.
He took off when a witness at the house confronted him with a knife and authorities caught up with him at the bowling alley off Loop 250.
