ODESSA – One man attempted to get away from police after an incident early Saturday morning.
Odessa Police were at Fast Eddie's when they saw a disturbance between two people.
According to the report, the officers saw a male subject pushing his chest up against a patron at the business.
The patron decided not to press charges.
However, police decided to place 23-year-old Jared Dockter into custody for public intoxication and was handcuffed.
Police say that while Dockter was seated on a curb, he stood up and attempted to escape police custody by running southbound towards 42nd Street.
