BIG SPRING – Big Spring Police are investigating following an afternoon accident.

Police were called out to the intersection of Alamesa and Wasson in reference to a major accident.

When officers arrived on the scene, they learned that the driver of a 2007 black Jaguar XJS failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with a 2011 gray GMC Terrain.

The driver of the black Jaguar, 55-year-old Tammy Green was taken to the hospital along with the driver and passenger in the GMC Terrain.

We're told an investigation led officers to believe that Green was intoxicated and officers obtained a warrant for a blood draw.

No arrests have been made yet as officials are waiting for results from Green's blood draw.

All three people involved in the accident were treated and released from the hospital.
