HOBBS – A settlement has been reached following a Hobbs doctor's suspension over allegations that he had sex with patients and was drunk on the job.
The Hobbs News-Sun is reporting attorneys came to an agreement on Thursday before a scheduled two day hearing.
According to the report, Dr. Christopher Driskill was alleged to have been under the influence of alcohol while on the job or on call at the Lea County Medical Center. Driskill was also accused of having had sexual relationships with several patients, including employees of Premier OB-GYN LLC and Lea County Medical Center.
The agreement will go before board members.
Driskill's medical license has been suspended until the board members make their final decision.
