HOBBS, N.M. - A Hobbs teen could be heading to prison for a long time.
Santana Serrano was convicted of accessory to first degree murder.
The 17-year-old was prosecuted as an adult in the death of 16-year-old Daniel Garcia.
According to Judge Gary Clingman, Serrano could be sent to prison for life with parole eligibility after 30 years.
A mandatory report of the case is required because Serrano was a teen at the time of Garcia's killing.
