MIDLAND - In a photo from the Midland Police Department, you can see cash spread out on a table, totaling to about $24,500, and more than a pound of marijuana.

All of it was seized from a home in the 2500 block of Haynes Drive in Midland. Police arrested 19-year-old Isaac Saenz on Friday. Neighbors say they saw police out front, but couldn't believe why.

"I'm in total shock. You know, Goddard School and it's just unbelievable, this neighborhood, you know I never thought you'd tell me something in this neighborhood happened," Larry Cox said.

"I am shocked. They are such nice people and we didn't talk to him but he always waved and smiled. I mean I'm just in real shock," Nicole Houston said.

According to police, Saenz is believed to have been a large distributor of marijuana in the area. All of it was happening right across the street from Goddard Junior High School.

A neighbor whose daughter attends the school did not want her face shown, but says she never saw this coming.

"Not on this street, not with the neighborhood, not with our neighbors. No," Dawn Hobbs said.

Saenz will be facing federal charges and is in custody with the U.S. Marshals.
