ODESSA, Texas (AP) - Ector County commissioners are set to get their first public report from an architectural firm doing a study of the county's courthouse.
On Monday, commissioners will hear the report from Brinkley Sargent that includes a comprehensive needs study and options that may be available for the county's courthouse.
Voters last year rejected a $95 million bond to build a new courthouse after a group met for months with no public input.
Ector County Judge Susan Redford has said the public will be more involved before any decision will be made. Options include renovating the current courthouse, building a new or finding another solution.
Officials have said for years that the courthouse is old and too small for the current needs.
