An earthquake was reported in West Texas early Saturday morning.

According to the United States Geological Survey, the 2.9 magnitude earthquake happened around 12:15 a.m.

The earthquake took place about 27 miles south-southeast of Pecos or 78 miles southwest of Odessa.

No word on if there was any damage or injuries.
