Caught on Camera: Four Thieves Wanted for Using Stolen Credit Cards

ODESSA - 'Tis the season to be jolly, but for some, tis the season to be caught on camera.

Two men and two women decided to go on a romantic double date to Walmart after stealing a purse from a woman's car.

"Within about 15 or 20 minutes of the actual auto burglary, these four individuals were inside Walmart running up charges on one of her debit/credit cards," Susan Rogers with Odessa Crime Stoppers said.

You can see their red suburban pull up to the front of the store and two of them got out. Hey, nothing like curbside service.

The second couple parks and walks in on a mission. Any trip to Walmart is like a trip to the zoo, maybe that's why she wore zebra-print pants.

"One of them has got a crazy colored purse that actually matches the pants on the other girl," Rogers said. "So you know, it's kind of a crazy thing."

Not many shopping excursions to Walmart go by quickly, but all it took them was 18 minutes to spend $560.

"They bought everything from socks to food to, you name it, totaling to I think over $500 in one shot," Rogers said.

From Ramen Noodles to jalapeno bologna and Kraft Singles, to cigarettes and clothes, not to mention holiday cards; at least they're thinking of someone else.

Then you can see two of them run back to their car, skipping and riding the cards, obviously overjoyed with their future jail time.

"The video is good and clear. I think someone will recognize these people," Rogers said.

Just remember, being thrifty only counts if you spend your own hard-earned money.

We're also told the four are suspected in several other car burglaries. So if you think you recognize them and need some extra cash this holiday season, please call Odessa Crime Stoppers at 333-TIPS.
