MIDLAND - Three people got locked up in Midland over the weekend after they broke into several businesses.
Randy Lopez, Andrew Bermea and a juvenile were all arrested on Saturday.
Police spotted Lopez and Bermea inside a truck right after they responded to a burglary alarm at Villa Villa on West Front Street.
That's when the officer heard the other teen whistling at them before taking off on foot.
Police caught up with him and all three were put in handcuffs.
An investigation revealed that the trio had been drinking and decided to steal from several businesses.
They took a cash register from the dress up thrift store on Marienfeld Street, a gun case from a janitorial service company and several alcoholic beverages from Villa Villa.
