Man in Hospital After Motorcycle Crash

ODESSA- Odessa Police responded to East Highway 80 and Pagewood in reference to a major crash.

Investigation revealed a blue Suzuki motorcycle, driven by 27 year old Daniel Ruiz-Ibarra was traveling eastbound on the service road of East Highway 80.

A white Ford F-350 was traveling westbound on the service road of East Highway and then attempted to turn left and struck the motorcycle.

Ruiz-Ibarra was not wearing a helmet and was transported to Medical Center Hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the truck was cited for Failure to Yield the Right of Way.

Ruiz-Ibarra was cited for No Proof of Insurance.
