En medio de este mes festivo, se encuentra el reconocimiento mundial de la diabetes cual fue instaurado por la Federación Internacional de el Diabetes y la organización mundial de la salud en 1991 como respuesta al alarmante aumento de los casos de esta enfermedad.


El diabetes es una enfermedad que causa que los glóbulos rojos no obtengan la azúcar que necesitamos para la energía que necesitamos para sobrevivir.

Telemundo 20 hablo con Argelia Prieto, enfermera educadora del centro de diabetes en el hospital de Midland, quien nos informó un poco de las prevenciones que personas diagnosticadas con esta enfermedad deben de tomar durante estos días festivos.

Usted puede disfrutar de todas las comidas que tenemos en estos días festivos, nada más tener control de la porción de que comen no comer tanto un poquito limitado pero todavía puede disfrutar de sus comidas.

la diabetes es difícil, la enfermedad impone ciertas demandas de por vida aquellos que lo sufren ya que son responsables del 95% de la atención que necesitan, es de suma importancia que reciban una continua educación diabética.
