ODESSA - A local Jeep club was out on Saturday showing off their rides and collecting food for local families in need.

Rock Hard Jeeps parked their vehicles at Permian High School for “Help For The Holidays.”

Everyone was invited to come by, check out their jeeps and donate food items for the West Texas Food Bank.

Santa Claus even made an appearance at the event.

They were also taking donations for NewsWest 9's Annual Toy Drive.

Rock Hard Jeeps says they enjoy serving their community and helping those in need.

“This time of season is great to just give thanks for what we have and give back to the community and for those who are less fortunate. We want to thank BTI for coming out here and sponsoring us as well as partnering with NewsWest 9. We're just out here, want to have a great impact on the community, not just to be a Jeep Club and just about us, we want to be in the community and be a part of it,” JD Anderson, Vice-President of Rock Hard Jeeps, said.
