GALVESTON - A statewide Amber Alert has been issued out of Galveston for a missing six month old child named Jerome.

DPS officials are reporting that Jerome was taken from a babysitter by three people, 18-year-old Valisa Allen, 17-year-old Christina Barrientos and a 17-year-old named Paige.

Jerome is described as a Black male with black hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a dark blue onesie with light blue trim and a Snoopy character on it and white socks.

We're told he also has a large two to three inch birthmark on his upper left chest.

A photo of Jerome has not yet been released.

Allen stole and is possibly driving a White Ford 1998 Expedition with a silver Houston Texan trailer hitch, a black and yellow La Morgan Honor Student sticker on the upper left corner of the rear windshield and has black tape on both side view mirrors. The license plate on the vehicle is CZZ-3900.

If you have any information on the whereabouts of Jerome, contact Galveston Police at (409) 765-3702.
