MIDLAND - A cool looking plane landed in Midland on Monday morning.
The 1929 Ford Tri-Motor is owned by the Experimental Aircraft Association.
They're taking a holiday break and needed a place to put the plane.
It's now on display at the Commemorative Air Force Museum by the airport.
One interesting note about its history is it's the first commercial airliner.
"The first airplane that was built specifically to haul people from point A to point B in airline service. So it's the beginning of what we now know as 737's and regional jets and things like that. This is really the grandfather of all the airliners," CAF Airpower Museum Director, Steve Buss, said.
The plane will be on display in the main hangar at the CAF Airpower Museum for the next two months.
