JAL, N.M. - Major changes could be on the way for schools in Jal, New Mexico.
The school board is proposing a $47 million school bond.
If it's approved, there will be a brand new elementary school. The main building at the high school will be renovated and a middle school with be built.
The main gym and old gym will also be renovated along with the high school cafeteria.
Voters will head out to the polls in February to say yes or no to the bond.
