EDDY COUNTY, N.M. - The Eddy County Sheriff's Office put a man behind bars for driving while intoxicated on Saturday.
The Sheriff's Office tells NewsWest 9 that around 2:30 a.m. deputies were working a semi-tractor trailer rollover at the intersection of North Canal and George Schoupe Relief Route.
That's when a grey Toyota pickup, driven by 21-year-old Robert Deyoe, drove through the barricade that was set up to prevent traffic from entering.
Deputies stopped Deyoe and after failing a series of sobriety tests, he was arrested for drinking while under the influence of alcohol and or drugs.
