GREENWOOD - The Greenwood School district continues to grow and grow.
Because of that, school officials approved nine class size waivers.
The waivers will be sent to the Texas Education Agency for approval.
Right now, there are three second grade classes and six kindergarten classes that have 23 students each.
That's more than the state's mandate which is a 22-to-one student-teacher ratio.
We're told the need for waivers just became recent since no classes required waivers at the beginning of the school year.
