Police Searching for Suspect Vehicle Following Early Morning Homicide

MIDLAND - Midland Police are searching for a suspect vehicle following an early morning shooting that left one person dead.

Midland Police were called out to the 500 block of South Carver Road where they found 27-year-old Humberto Joshua Ramos lying in the street with multiple gunshot wounds.

Ramos was taken to Midland Memorial Hospital where he later died during surgery.

Officials say an investigation revealed that the shooting is possibly connected to a drug-related dispute.

The description of the suspect vehicle is a late 1990's or early 2000's model SUV that has been dropped. The vehicle has gray/chrome rims and is possibly a Trailblazer, Jimmy or Kia type of SUV with square headlights.

Police are also searching for two white, heavy-set males between the ages of 40 and 50 years old. 

The investigation into the case is ongoing and Ramos' body has been sent to Tarrant County for an autopsy.
