ECTOR COUNTY – Two people were arrested following an incident in Ector County on Thursday.
We're told the Ector County Sheriff's Office received a call regarding a subject that had been kidnapped at gunpoint on Wednesday.
The victim reported to authorities that she had been kidnapped at gunpoint from a trailer, taken to an unknown location and locked in a trailer that was used to transport motorcycles.
The victim was told that she had to contact her boyfriend and to bring a specific amount of money in exchange for her release.
The boyfriend contacted authorities on Thursday morning around 8 a.m. after being told to meet with the kidnappers at a 7-11 parking lot on Moss and University at 11 a.m.
Officers were given a vehicle description the suspect was driving.
The vehicle was later spotted at the 7-11 where they found three people, two females and one male, in the vehicle.
Officials say they did find a shotgun in the vehicle and 64-year-old Richard Eloy Williams and 38-year-old Shauna Gilmore were arrested and charged with aggravated kidnapping.
Bond for both Williams and Gilmore has been set at $50,000 each.
As NewsWest 9 reported earlier this week, Gilmore was the person who filed a police report stating that her trailer was stolen and all her belongings were gone. Officials did confirm to NewsWest 9 that Gilmore's trailer was stolen.
