WICHITA, KANSAS - Four people are dead after a small plane crashed into a building at an airport in Kansas
Officials say the small airplane plowed into a building at Mid-Continent Airport in Wichita, Kansas.
The FAA is reporting that the small plane lost engine power on takeoff.
Emergency crews and police were rushing to the Mid-Continent Airport in Wichita, where thick plumes of black smoke were billowing from a flight safety building struck by the twin-engine Beechcraft airplane.
Five other people were injured in the crash and four people are currently unaccounted for.
