MIDLAND - We have new information about a standoff with officers in Midland.

The wanted fugitive is behind bars along with his mother and another woman.

The two women are being charged for hindering the investigation.

It all started Monday afternoon at a home in the 4800 block of Dentcrest.

Police say authorities were serving a warrant to 35-year-old Rubin Long.

When they saw him, he went back inside the house.

Authorities were able to get inside after the landlord gave them the keys.

According to the affidavit, Bonnie Long told authorities that her son wasn't inside the home and that he was in Odessa.

She was told to come outside but she refused.

The report says authorities found a monitor inside a bedroom that Lisa Morris was in that was connected to a video recording system on the front porch.

They say that system was used to watch authorities' movements outside the home.

A 13-year-old boy who was also in the house was turned over to Child Protective Services.
