ODESSA - An Odessa man is behind bars after biting an officer and threatening to kill a family member.
According to the report, 21-year-old Federico Valenzuela was kicked out of his home by his step-dad.
When police got on scene, they say Valenzuela was hitting his own car with a baseball bat.
He told officers that if his step-dad didn't leave, he was going to murder him.
Valenzuela began walking back to the house and that's when officers tried to arrest him.
There was a scuffle between the two and the report says Valenzuela bit an officer in the hand, causing him to bleed.
He was eventually handcuffed and hauled off to jail.
