ODESSA – A 16-year-old has been arrested on manslaughter charges following a deadly accident that happened last Sunday afternoon.
The accident happened at the intersection of Tanglewood and Springdale, just before 12:45 p.m.
As NewsWest 9 reported last week, a Ford F-150, occupied by two 16-year-old's, was traveling southbound on Tanglewood and struck a Nissan Maxima.
The investigation revealed that the F-150 was traveling approximately 98 miles per hour.
The collision caused 16-year-old Hunter Miller, who was a passenger in the F-150, to be ejected from the vehicle.
Miller was taken to Medical Center Hospital with life-threatening injuries and died two days later from his injuries.
The 15-year-old driver of the Nissan Maxima was cited for violation of driver's license restriction but was not at fault in the accident.
