ODESSA - The recent rains were much needed but it brought in many mosquitoes and overgrown vegetation.
The City of Odessa wants to remind people that they need to cut their grass, weeds and other vegetation that is more than 12 inches tall.
If you get caught, you could face a fine up to $500.
Officials say cutting down tall vegetation will also reduce the number of mosquitoes.
