ODESSA- 19 year-old Brandon Valle was arrested after Odessa Police were called to the Sunset Apartments for a domestic disturbance.

When they arrived Police saw Valle running through the complex. After he was caught officers could smell alcohol on his breath.

Valle said he was “coming down off synthetic” and was placed into custody. Officers spoke with Valle's mother and saw her face was swollen and bruised.

Police ran his name and found that Valle had been convicted of assault family violence in 2013. Valle was charged with assault family violence with prior convictions, public intoxication, and evading arrest.

According to the report, after Valle was placed into custody, 17 year-old Cameron Setser ran towards officers and stated “you are not going to take him.” She then jumped on an officer and started punching him in the head.

Another officer came to assist and she kicked him in the chest.
