MIDLAND-  The call came in around 9:15 Tuesday morning. 30-year-old Stephanie Turner was found dead at her home. The disturbing thing is, her two children discovered their Mothers body. Midland Police quickly taped off the 3100 block of West Kansas Street..

"As of right now, the cause of death is unknown. There are no stab wounds, there are no gunshot wounds. Her children were at home  at the time this happen. We believe it happened over night," Midland Public Information Officer, Sara Bustilloz said.

Turner's death is being investigated as a homicide. Police were looking for 38 year old Leeroy Laney the live-in boyfriend of Turner. They were asking the public to help locate him throughout the day on Tuesday. NewsWest 9 received information Tuesday night that Laney was caught in Ft. Worth. In a statement by officials it reads:

Suspect Leroy Laney has been taken into custody in Ft. Worth. Investigators will be heading there to continue the investigation.

Police are talking to Turner's children who will help in the investigation.

"We've talked with the kids and they've gone to be with family members that are local. It's devastating whenever children are involved in any sort of way. That's something we're being really cautious of right now. Making sure they have a place to stay and just working with them and trying to be gentle with them at this point," Bustilloz said.

As for Laney, Police say he's had run-ins with the law before.
