ODESSA - Odessans have a new place to go to get healthcare services.
A ribbon cutting ceremony was held on Monday for the Center for Primary Care, JBS Parkway.
The clinic has two pediatric clinics, a family practice clinic and a urgent care center which is open seven days a week.
Medical Center Hospital also affiliated with Covenant Children's Hospital in Lubbock to provide services for special needs children.
Hospital officials tell NewsWest 9, they're just looking to make healthcare services easier for people.
“Medical Center is just really focused on expanding the primary care base here in Odessa. We want to make healthcare more accessible, more affordable to the residents here and so, these new satellite clinics are just an effort toward that,” Bill Webster, Chief Executive Officer at Medical Center Health System, said.
The clinics also serve as the student health care center for UTPB.
