ODESSA - "Well, I don't even know what to say. You think you've seen them all," Susan Rogers with Odessa Crime Stoppers said.

And then, a real life cookie monster breaks in to a local Odessa bakery, and Odessa Crimes Stoppers are looking for him.

A heavyset man threw a large rock through the front door of L'oven Expressions Bakery back in July, which is a felony.

Then you see him crouch to the ground like he's on an undercover mission; Operation: State Felony. Target--a box of cookies and three beers.

"It literally is a state jail felony over a bag of cookies," Rogers said.

Hey, we all get cravings. You know what mom always says though--don't get caught with your hand in the cookie jar.

He makes his way over to the counter and goes through several drawers before turning around, covering half of his face with this shirt. Perhaps in an act of disguise, or maybe just out of embarrassment.

"I think the video's clear enough that the shape and size of this man that somebody will recognize who this is," Rogers said. "He's got a t-shirt on with some sort of graphic on the back of it."

Before leaving, he steals three bottles of beer from a cake. After all, nothing washes down cookies like room-temperature beer.

However the owner says this is not the first time someone has broken in to her bakery.

"Well you know, as a small business owner, that's the last thing they need," Lawana Smith said. "The profit margins are not really great to start with and when people break in to your business that definitely has an effect on it. So yeah, we'd prosecute anybody that breaks in."

Smith also says that she's already putting up security lights for any future sugar-craving bandits.
