ODESSA – An Odessa man is behind bars following an incident in Odessa on Tuesday night.
Officers were called out to the 1700 block of North Lincoln in reference to a disturbance.
We're told that while officers were responding, dispatch advised that the victim had been stabbed by his son and that the suspect was a white bald male.
When authorities arrived, the victim said that his son, later identified as 45-year-old Robert David Stice, launched at him with a kitchen knife and said that he was able to deflect the knife with his hands causing his son to stab him in the knee.
The victim also stated that his son punched him in the back before leaving the home.
Officers later located a white bald male hiding inside a vehicle and he was identified as Stice.
The victim was taken to Medical Center Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Stice is facing charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon (family violence).
