ODESSA – The University of Texas of the Permian Basin has set a new record for students.
School officials tell NewsWest 9, they now have more than 5,500 students.
That represents a nearly nine percent increase compared to fall of 2013.
We're also told that campus housing is now full.
We're told primary factors contributing to enrollment growth are the expansion of university online programs, a focus on quality teaching and the affordable cost of tuition.
