BIG SPRING - The City of Big Spring has a new Economic Development Board.
The City Council filled all five spots on the board at their meeting on Tuesday.
The new board members were chosen out of 17 applicants.
Terry Hansen and Larry Rogers will serve for three years, Nadine Reyes and Bob Price will serve for two years and Cole Morgan will hold a spot for one year.
The previous economic development board was disbanded because officials say they were not effective.
The first meeting for the new board will be held on Monday.
