MIDLAND - Driving drunk and threatening an officer landed one Midland man in jail.

Police say 21-year-old James Vaden first broke into a house and was armed.

Officers spotted him driving and when they tried to stop him, he kept driving.

Vaden eventually came to a stop and police say he came out of the car shirtless and stumbling on his feet.

The report says Vaden's eyes were glassy and his speech was slurred.

While being taken to jail, he began screaming and confessed that he knew he was driving drunk and even threatened an officer.
