MIDLAND - There was a special golf tournament held in Midland on Monday.
The annual Buckner Golf Classic was held at the Green Tree Country Club.
Golfers gathered together to tee off and raise money for Buckner's two community-based programs, the Foster Care Program and the Family Place Program.
"Our foster care families are taking kids to protect them and to be a part of their families. Our Family Place Program is our single moms and their kids that are living on our campus and the moms are going to school continuing their education and just a really, great welfare to work program," Myndy Easter with Buckner in Midland, said.
