ALPINE – Sul Ross State University received a generous check on Tuesday.
The check, which was from the officers of the Dixon Water Foundation, was for $200,000.
We're told the check represents the first of six annual $200,000 increments to fund both a B.S. Degree and a certificate program in sustainable ranch management at Sul Ross as well as a permanent endowment for the Clint Josey Chair of Sustainable Ranch Management.
Dr. Bonnie Warnock, who is a professor of Natural Resource Management, will be the program's endowed professor.
