ODESSA - NewsWest 9 has learned more details about an alleged rape on the UTPB campus. A student was arrested for sexually assaulting a woman in his dorm room.
On Wednesday, officials released the arrest affidavit that details the events leading up to the alleged attack.
What started off as a night of drinking, ended with one women in the hospital and 19-year-old UTPB student Treasure Luvaul charged with sexual assault.
According to an arrest affidavit, the victim told police she and Luvaul met on Wednesday, August 27.
Around 1:30 a.m. Sunday morning, the victim said when she left work, she, Luvaul and a friend went to Luvaul's dorm room on the university campus.
The report said they started drinking, taking shots of vodka and whiskey and playing video games.
According to the documents, as the night went on, Luvaul and the woman's friend got into an argument although it's not clear what sparked it.
The victim said she remembers hearing someone say "remember Sally" right before her friend walked out of the dorm.
The victim told police after her friend left, she remembers Luvaul trying to take off her clothes in his bedroom.
The affidavit said the woman was in and out of consciousness but she does remember telling Luvaul "no" when he tried having sex with her.
The victim told investigators she eventually passed out and when she woke up she found blood running down her legs.
According to the documents, as the victim tried to leave, Luvaul grabbed her phone but she got it back and left.
The woman told her ex-boyfriend and eventually her mother about what allegedly happened and the victim's mother took her to Medical Center Hospital where a sexual assault forensic exam was done.
Luvaul gave investigators permission to search his dorm and there they took bed sheets, a comforter, a condom and a condom wrapper as evidence.
