ODESSA – An Odessa Police recruit has been fired following an investigation into a fight at a house a few weeks ago.
As you may recall, officers were called to a house in the 4200 block of Wayside back on August 24.
A man claims he was handcuffed and a gun was pointed at him after a fight.
Police tell NewsWest 9, the recruit, along with an Ector County Jailer were there at the time.
We're told that the recruit was fired for lying during the investigation claiming that a gun was not present and for personal behavior.
