BIG SPRING - Fire officials have extinguished a brush fire that sparked up on Thursday morning in Big Spring.

According to our friends at KBYG Radio in Big Spring, the fire was located just north of Martin Luther King Blvd.

KBYG Radio reported the fire was in a lower area in rough terrain.

We're told the cause of the fire was due to a buzzard that was caught in a transformer line.

No damage has been reported.
