MIDLAND - Some brand new stores are in the works for the Basin.
Stores like Banana Republic Factory, Gap Factory and D-X-L will be coming to the Commons at Northpark.
There's 20 businesses but officials aren't saying what other stores there will be.
However, they said they do expect more stores like Banana Republic to come to the Basin.
"In general, we have had a lot of interest in the shopping center from a lot of tenants that typically haven't looked at markets in Midland, same size range. I think that trend is going to continue so like I said, we have a few more in the works and we keep getting phone calls. So, yes, I would say expect that trend to continue for tenants like that to continue moving in the market," Gary Andrews, Director of Leasing, said.
