“The college admissions process has become significantly more complicated than in years past,” states Jarad Sanchez, CEO and founder of Raise-College-Going Kids.com. Sanchez points to studies done by the California State University which stated that the primary reason many students received rejection letters is because they did not meet the university system’s minimum admissions requirements. “There are actual programs whose sole purpose is to inform parents and students about the minimum university admissions criteria and studies show that the students who participate in these programs are much more successful in gaining acceptance to college than their peers,” states Sanchez. Sanchez worked with over 3,000 students as an outreach counselor for San Diego State’s nationally recognized Compact for Success program.
According to Sanchez, not all schools offer expansive college outreach programs leaving millions of children at a disadvantage. While there are thousands of web pages that offer advice on college admissions, Sanchez states that much of the information available on the internet is often dated or incomplete, “There is so much noise that it’s difficult to know what’s real and what’s useful and what’s not which is why we created our program.”
Parents of college-bound children interested in overcoming the challenges of incomplete, confusing or conflicting college admissions information can view an exclusive video on how to avoid college rejection letters for free on the Raise-College-Going-Kids.com website: http://www.raise-college-going-kids.com/college_ad…
In addition to answering questions about how to avoid college rejection letters, Raise-College-Going-Kids.com also covered obtaining financial aid during the video. One of the most surprising facts explored during the presentation is the fact that most students are eligible for a student loan regardless of their income or credit, something few parents of college-bound children are aware of.
The full agenda of this informative video also includes:
Financial Aid – How to avoid missing financial aid deadlines.
College Admissions Requirements – How to be eligible to go to any university in the U.S.
