An Apparent Road Rage Incident Leaves Houston Man Dead

HOUSTON (AP) - An apparent road rage incident in the Houston area has left a man shot to death after he allegedly followed another driver home and the two men argued.

The Harris County Sheriff's Office had no immediate information Wednesday on whether anyone was charged after the second driver opened fire.

Sgt. Gregg Pinkins says the 38-year-old man in an SUV who was killed may have followed the 25-year-old driver home.

The men allegedly had a traffic dispute Tuesday night. The younger man drove home, got out in his driveway and realized he'd been followed. The SUV driver allegedly threatened to run over him. The younger man told deputies he had a gun, fired into the SUV, then called 911.

The name of the driver who died wasn't immediately released.
