LUBBOCK - A burglary suspect who fled from a Lubbock jail while on trash cleanup duty is back in custody after nearly six hours on the run.

The Lubbock County Sheriff's Office says 19-year-old Ygnacio Antonio Rodriguez Jr. was captured early Thursday morning at a home in Lubbock.

Officers detained several individuals in the investigation of the escape.

Lt. Brian Taylor says Rodriguez turned up missing Wednesday night from the Lubbock Count Detention Center. Rodriguez was working trash detail near the jail fence when he apparently went over the barrier.

Rodriguez was originally charged with burglary of a habitation in 2011. He'll now face escape charges.
