CARLSBAD, N.M. - A Carlsbad man has plead guilty to charges of selling spice and money laundering.

62-year-old Garlan Plumlee has been sentenced to two years of probation.

Prosecutors say Plumlee, along with Phillip Larez and Justin Thompson, would sell the synthetic pot at "The Looking Glass" shop in Carlsbad.

When officers raided the business, they seized nearly 4,800 packages of "Spice" with 38 different names.

The day after the search, Plumlee withdrew $147,000 out of his business and personal bank accounts.

Larez and Thompson also plead guilty.
