Jeep Rolls in Andrews County, Driver Killed

ANDREWS COUNTY – One person is dead following an accident in Andrews County.

The accident happened three miles south of Andrews on U.S. Highway 385, just before 8 p.m. Saturday evening.

DPS Troopers tell NewsWest 9, a 2006 Jeep Commander was traveling northbound on U.S. Highway 385 when the driver veered off the roadway and overcorrected causing the Jeep to overturn.

The driver of the Jeep, 26-year-old Azael Luiton of Brownsville, Texas, was killed in the accident.

We're told no other vehicles were involved in this accident.
