BIG SPRING -

A man accused of shooting another man in the face and legs last November in Big Spring will go on trial next week in Big Spring's 118th District Court.

29-year-old Leroy Zubiate was arrested in San Antonio a few weeks after a shooting that seriously injured another man.

Officers were called out to a home in the 1200 block of Sycamore Big Spring on November 27, 2013.

That's where they found 23-year-old Juan Diaz with gunshot wounds to the face and legs.

Apparently, Zubiate and Diaz were involved in a domestic dispute.

Zubiate is facing charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.  Jury selection is set to begin Monday morning and the first day of trial is set for Tuesday.
