ODESSA - Harmony Home in Odessa hoped to score some support for abused kids in the basin on Thursday.
The non-profit advocacy center held its annual "Tee Up For Kids" golf tournament.
It's all to raise money to help harmony home continue its services for children that have been abused.
"It makes it even more important that we're able to raise as much money as possible. We want to do something about this problem. It helps us to get these kiddos on the road to healing as quickly as possible," Denise Malm, Executive Director of Harmony Homes Odessa, said.
We're told Ector County is the second county in the state that has the highest percentage of children involved in Child Protective Services.
That's based on per capita.
