Criminal charges will not be filed against a Denver City police officer for a fatal shooting.
According to the Hobbs News-Sun, prosecutors won't be going after Officer Ryan Taylor.
Taylor shot and killed 35-year-old Amy Reyna from Hobbs.
Reyna was being chased across state lines when she drove into a pasture and stopped.
The chase happened last October in Yoakum County.
She was surrounded.
When she started to back her car up, court documents say Taylor thought she had a gun and fired at her car.
An autopsy ruled she had meth in her system.
