ODESSA – One woman is behind bars in connection with an animal cruelty report.

Last month, Odessa Police were called out to the "Doggie Boutique" in reference to two animals found dead inside the business.

An investigation revealed that 22-year-old Amber Sais had been in care, custody and control of the business for four months.

Odessa Police say Sais failed to provide necessary food, water, care or shelter for the animals.

We're told that Sais was arrested on Wednesday afternoon on two animal cruelty warrants of cruelty to non-livestock animals and taken to the Ector County Law Enforcement Center.

No word yet on bond for Sais.
