ODESSA – Odessa Police are investigating after an aggravated robbery at an Odessa business over the weekend.
Officers were called out to Payless Shoes on 8th Street on Sunday afternoon in reference to a panic alarm.
When officers arrived on the scene, a victim reported that she had been robbed by a Hispanic male.
The victim told police that the man entered the store holding a blanket and pointed the blanket at the victim as if he was in possession of a gun and told the victim to give him the money.
The victim opened the cash register and the man then demanded all the money out of the safe.
Officials say the man exited the store through a back door and was last seen eastbound on foot.
There's no word how much money the suspect got away with.
The man is described as a Hispanic male, 6' tall, approximately 230 pounds with tattoos all over his shoulders and neck.
We're told no one was injured in the incident.
